• When you hit a point of confusion or a decision you cannot see through this week, stop working the problem and spend a few minutes in worship before you go back to it.
• Pick up a Bible and read Habakkuk 3 and Isaiah 35 side by side, looking for the connections Brian walked through on Sunday.
• If you have been leaning on 'no man knows the day or the hour' as a reason not to study what the Bible says about the season of Jesus' return, spend some time in Matthew 24 this week.

1. Brian talked about the idea that clarity and complexity tend to increase together, that you rarely get one without the other. Have you seen that pattern play out in your own life, and what did it look like?
2. Brian pointed to the A. W. Tozer quote that modern life makes the devotional life 'all but impossible' and connected that to the need for simplicity. What is one thing in your current life that makes it harder to slow down and be still, and what would it look like to simplify in that area?
3. Several people in the room noticed different things in the Habakkuk 3 and Isaiah 35 passages when they read them together. What stood out to you in those passages, and how did hearing other people's observations change or add to what you saw?
4. Brian said that when Habakkuk brought his complaint to God in worship, God did not address his immediate problem but instead showed him something far larger. Have you ever experienced God redirecting your attention during a time of prayer or worship, and what came of it?
5. The closing takeaway was that clarity comes through worship, and that sometimes God may not give you clarity about your situation until hindsight. Is there a current complexity in your life where you have been trying to figure your way out rather than stopping to worship, and what would it mean practically for you to stop and do that this week?
