1. Brian described the difference between God's word staying in your mind versus penetrating your heart, and said the Pharisees are a example of people whose knowledge never made that drop. Where do you notice that gap in your own life, between knowing something from scripture and actually living from it?
2. The Hebrew word behind 'listen carefully' was described as stretching out a fitted sheet, fully laying it out and wrestling with it. When has wrestling with a passage, rather than just reading past it, actually changed how you understood it?
3. Brian used the image of a watchtower in a field to describe what it looks like when God's word is placed on the high ground of your life to guard and protect everything else. What does it look like practically when that watchtower is missing?
