Talk about it

1. Brian talked about a voice in his head telling him this topic is irrelevant and that he should move on. Have you ever felt pressure, from inside or outside, to avoid a subject you believed God was leading you toward? What did you do with that?
2. The sermon laid out three foundation stones: all the earth belongs to God, he does what he wants with his own property, and he is absolutely trustworthy. Which of those three is hardest for you to sit with, and why?
3. Brian used the story of Grant Gollaher's round pen horse demonstration to describe how God works with us, allowing us to run but removing pressure the moment we turn toward him. Where in your own life have you experienced that kind of persistent, patient pressure from God?
4. The maps showed land boundaries being drawn, redrawn, fought over, and given back across thousands of years. Brian said 'borders drawn without God are lines drawn against God.' What does that statement stir up in you, and how do you think about it in light of what the Bible actually says about who owns the land?
5. At the close of the sermon Brian turned the conversation inward, asking whether there is territory in your own heart or life where you feel the enemy has been trespassing or talking you out of what God has promised you. What came to mind when he asked that question?
