Our new home. So I'm so glad that you guys all found us. Turn to your neighbor and say, you found us. You found us. Man, this is great to see all of you here this evening.

And I know that, Connor, you're probably working on ringing out a little bit of that that hot mic. But as we get started tonight, couple of things right off the bat. First of all, if you're brand new, my name is Brian Hunter. Thank you so much for calling this place home tonight. Also, thank you to all of our first be friends and family that are renting us this space so that we could have a place to meet as we are selling our home that perhaps you've been to before.

Also, we have some fun friends here tonight. We have Ali and Bobby just wave at us. Alright. They are with risen they're with risen hearts, and if you remember, I talked about to you guys several weeks ago that we were going to receive a special offering that would help offset the cost of paying for meals, and Gretchen's been doing a lot of cooking. Go ahead.

You could And then the peanut gallery in the back is IDF reservist soldiers that are here with Allie and Bobby, part of Risen Hearts Ministry. So, we're glad that you guys are here and to just go ahead and we're gonna just rip the band aid right off. I know that that you may not have known what to expect for tonight but I had Yosef write down each of your names and put them on a piece of paper and put them in this cup. I will now draw one of those names and one of you will be baptized tonight. Oh, unless you want to nominate.

Oh, who? I'm just kidding. But we still could if you wanted. I'm so glad that you guys are here. I know that you have been been so busy doing all different kinds of things while you're here in Jackson, seeing new things and experiencing new things, being charged by a moose, horseback riding.

You had the amazing experience of shopping in Idaho Falls today. Yeah, yeah, quite impressive. And have you been rafting? No. No?

Okay. Alright. Not not rafting. Rock climbing. Rock climbing.

Two days of rock climbing. I brought everybody back alive. And then on Tuesday, we're gonna go climb Cody Peak. And so while you're here, I know that you're doing a lot of different activities and all kinds of new experiences, but I also know that Yosef and Travis and Ali and Bobby, the team has worked really hard to create space for you to just relax and to breathe and to consider and to draw close to one another, to appreciate your family, to mourn the loss of of those of your friends and fellow soldiers who've laid down their life and I want to tell you thank you so much for taking time out of your evening to be here with the rest of us. Are we happy to have them?

Yeah. I'm very happy to have you. If you're new to Tribe, here's how I like to do things. We're going to read from god's word together, not all at the same time that's too liturgical but we'll read from god's word together and then I like to unpack what god's word has to say and when we were at the TMC which is a much smaller venue, we had to do multiple services but we were squeezed in together and I really like the conversational format that we would have. I don't know how well or how long that will carry into this new venue but we're gonna try it tonight and so, the conversation that you love and appreciate about our cozy environment of the TMC, we're gonna have that here tonight as well and Huxley is gonna be running the mic around in the room and so it's in the back.

If you would just grab the oh, you've already oh. Whoo. Prepared. Oh, we're gonna switch it out. So the reason why we have the mic is in this bigger room, it'd be helpful to hear your voice, but also for all of our friends and families that are traveling that couldn't be here this Sunday evening.

They get to be a part of the conversation that we're going to have and they'll get to hear you on the live stream. So, this evening, if you have your Bible, let's open up to the book of Isaiah. We're gonna turn to the book of Isaiah. We're going to look at Isaiah chapter 53. And if you're taking notes this evening, at the top of your notes, you can write the title of the conversation that we're going to have tonight.

The title of the conversation that we are going to have this evening is the Lord's Good plan. You can write that at the top of your notes. The lord's good plan and as I was looking at Isaiah 53, every single verse is just packed so dense with spiritual nutrition. I thought the only right thing to do would be for us to take turns reading sections and get through the entire chapter of Isaiah 53 and so, if you've clicked on Isaiah 53, let's start in verse one and would somebody be willing to read the first few verses and then we'll pass the mic off to the next person, the next person, and we're gonna get all the way through to the end of verse 12. It's just 12 verses.

I know you can do it. Who would kick us off? Isaiah 53, we'll start in verse one. Gretchen, all the way over there. Thank you, Gretchen.

Good job, folks. Good workout today.

Who has believed our report and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from him.

He was despised, and we did not esteem him.

Surely, he took up our pain and bore our suffering. Yet, we considered him punished by god, stricken by him, and afflicted, but he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was on him. And by his wounds, we are healed.

We all like sheep have gone astray. Each of us has turned to our own way. And the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted yet he did not open his mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shears is silent, so he did not open his mouth.

By oppression and judgement, he was taken away. Yet, who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living for the transgression of my people, he was punished. He was assigned a grave with the wicked and with the rich in his death. Though he had done no violence nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer. And though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days. And the Lord and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied by his knowledge. My righteous servant will justify many.

And he will bear their iniquities. Therefore,

I

will give him a portion among the great and he will divide the spoils with the strong because he poured out his life unto death and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.

Oh, that's good. Thank you. The lord blessed the reading of his word this evening. So, I wonder if you've ever found yourself in a similar situation where your friend's birthday is coming up and you wanna do something special for them? Getting them a present is nice, but you're like, oh, let's go above and beyond and let's throw like a surprise birthday dinner for your friends.

How many of have ever been a part of a surprise birthday dinner? It's the best. I love it. I love I love being surprised, but I also love hiding for the surprise. But there's something interesting about the point person.

Right? There's always a point person. The point person has to convince that person whose birthday it is that we're gonna go out for dinner. And you have to sell it perfectly. And if you've ever been the point person that gets every that gets that person to come out for their birthday dinner, you gotta really sell it.

Hey, you know, it's your birthday. Oh, that's right. That's this Thursday. You know what? We should go out for dinner.

You know, play it really, really calm. And they're like, I don't know. It's my birthday. Maybe I'll just stay in. And you're like, no.

We gotta get them out for dinner because all of their friends are hiding at the restaurant. So you're like, come on. Let's just how about a quick bite? It's your birthday. I wanna treat you to a special dinner.

And maybe they resist. Maybe they're like, I don't know. We'll see. All of their friends are planning on being at the restaurant hiding at that time. It's your job to get that person out of the house into the restaurant with you.

Right? How many of you are with me? You, we all know what that is like. And then finally, they're like, okay, fine. I'll go.

And you get them to the restaurant, they walk into the restaurant, all of their friends jump out and they say, okay, so Nancy is who you want at your surprise birthday because she knows the assignment. Everybody jumps out and says, surprise, and then that person that was maybe a little bit of a stick in the mud, they're like, okay, alright, that was actually really fun, and they have a really fun birthday dinner. How many of you have like been on one side or the other of that equation? Yeah, like, okay, we've been there. How about this, for you parents?

You are planning a trip, and this is when your kids were little. You're planning a trip, and the trip is around doing fun things for the kids. We're gonna go we're gonna go to this place. We're gonna do this fun thing. It's gonna be amazing and you're talking it up and your kids are excited.

They get really excited. You're gonna have a long travel day when the adventure starts and a long travel day means you have to get up early in the morning And waking your children up early in the morning to go on a trip that they're excited about never really goes like you think. Like, guys, we're going to Italy the morning of. They're like, god, they just wanna sleep, and they're cranky, and they're fussy, and you're like, come on. Let's go.

You're gonna have a good time. Ali, maybe you can relate sometime this week. Come on, you are going to love it. And they are fussy and they don't have enough coffee and they are I don't know why when they are dragging their feet. But you know as the parent, if you can just get them in the car, if you can just get them in the plane seat, if you can just get them to the fun thing that they're gonna love it.

And so you put up with all of their fussiness, and we have an expression among our friends saying they have a poopy diaper. Like, even though they have a poopy diaper, you still press on and invite your children into this thing that they're gonna love even though they may be kicking and screaming. Can any parents relate to that? Okay. Yes.

All of you can. In a similar way, that is what is happening in Isaiah 53. Which is why we titled the conversation this evening, the Lord's Good Plan. Have you ever had a surprise and it was like, oh, let's do something really boring. No, you want to make it really fun.

Hey, let's do something that let's go to a place like that nobody wants to go to. I mean, you've been to Idaho Falls, is there really any need to ever go back? No. No offense to anyone traveling over here from Idaho Falls. I feel like I have to say that.

Oh, real? Oh, have one. Alright. Everybody say, we love Idaho Falls. We love Idaho Falls.

Okay. Thank you. I mean, you made a trek to get over here. Great. Great.

Great. I just better not make any Rock Springs jokes.

You should ask. Is it

So, in a similar way, in a similar way, with the lord's good plan that he has for all of mankind But many people missed it. If I could be crass for a moment, many people had a poopy diaper and weren't picking up what the lord was putting down. Look look at a couple of these examples. Look at look at verse two and three of Isaiah 53. It says this, my servant grew up in the lord's presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground.

There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance. Nothing to attract us to him. Who is the he in that passage? Jesus. Rabbi Jesus.

But what's fascinating about the author of this passage, the prophet Isaiah, he wrote these words down hundreds of years before Jesus was born in a little town at the time called Bethlehem. Now, it's a busy city and it looks kind of like Idaho Falls with traffic going everywhere. God says, he was a tender green shoot that grew up in the lord's presence. But then verse three, he was despised and rejected. And we did not care.

So look at the contrast between what God is doing and then how he was perceived. God raised him with favor. There was favor on his life. He was specially raised him up as a tender green shoot. But as humanity as humanity, we didn't care.

We despised him. Meaning, to despise means to disregard or to treat common or to treat as nothing special. To take one glance and then look away with your attention. I'm not going to consider. I'm not going to really examine.

I'll just treat casually. That's what it means to despise. And then look at verse four through six. Yet it was our weakness that he carried. It was our sorrows that weighed him down.

But we thought his troubles were a punishment from god. A punishment for his own sins. God is doing on one hand something amazing and incredible god's good plan but it was perceived by all of humanity completely different. Look what that guy did. He kinda deserved it.

Serves him right. That's what these verses are saying. Verse four through six speaks of when you hear that word sin, you can think of sin like breaking a law, Okay? How many laws does a person get to break before they are a law breaker? One.

That's not very nice of you. What if you don't get caught? Are you still a lawbreaker? Guilty. Sin is like breaking God's moral law.

That's what sin is. Breaking god's moral law. So, if a person breaks one of god's laws, how many laws of god do they get to break before a person is a sinner? Y'all said it, not me. Whether you get caught or not, if you break one law, you're a law breaker.

If you commit one sin, if you break one of god's moral laws, you are a sinner. That's what is being said here in Isaiah 53. We break god's moral law but god pays the price. Now, I'm gonna put a couple of verses up here on the screen and I want us to to examine them, pay close attention. We're gonna look at verses 10 through 12.

I'll read it for you and you can follow along in English. But it was the lord's, what's that phrase? Good plan. To crush him and cause him grief. Yet, when his life was made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants.

He will enjoy a long life and the lord's good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous. Righteous. That's a very churchy word.

Righteous. Think of the word righteous as having right standing. Right relationship, righteous, had is a word of position to have right standing with god. He says, I will give him the honors, in verse 12, of a victorious soldier because he exposed himself, subjected himself to death. He was counted among the rebels and he bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

This passage is these two verses are packed with meaning and depth. And whether you've read this passage a thousand times or maybe this is the very first time you're seeing this passage, it's worth slowing down and considering the truth in these few verses that have the ability to transform every human soul. I, if I keep looking up here, it's because it's up here behind me. I don't have it memorized. I can just read it from here.

Pretty cool first beat but it was the lord's good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet, when his life was made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. Okay, Him. Why why he gotta do that? Why does he need to why does he need to do that?

If I break the law, who should pay the price? Me. Yes. If you break the law, who should pay the price? Me.

You. So, here is how god's good plan works. He love the Bible says that he loves us. The Old Testament say, I gave Selah and Dan as a ransom for you because you are precious to me. He says, he who harms you, including Israel, harms the very center, the apple of my eye.

He loves you. The Bible says that he is passionate about his relationship with you. The Bible says that he has more thoughts about you than there are grains of sand on the sea shore. He's thinking about you a lot. He loves you.

But here's another thing about the God of the Bible is he's omniscient. Means he knows everything. Nothing is hidden from his sight. Now, when your kids were little and they were naughty, I mean, not AJ, of course, but when he was little and he would do something, AJ, did you take that cookie when you weren't supposed to? A child just instinctive is like, no.

I didn't do it. Even though they messed up, you don't have to teach a child to lie, to take something that doesn't belong to them. That's just our human nature. And it's in our nature that we break god's law. There are a lot of people that like to think, well, okay, but I'm a good person.

I'm a basically, I'm a good person. I may not be perfect. I don't go to church every week but but I I'm a good person. That would be like, imagine if from from the Grand Teton over to the Middle Teton, we stretched a really tight rope line. And somebody, you, had to walk along that tight rope from the top of the Grand Teton over to the top of the Middle Teton.

And if you were to be successful to tightrope walk from one summit to the next, that would be the equivalent of you living a good life and being a good person. Here's what happens to humanity. We start out, we're walking the line, a gust of wind comes. Okay, I got it. And we keep going.

At some point on the tightrope, maybe we slip and we fall. We hold on with with dear life. And as you get older in life, your grip loosens, and maybe you're holding on for for dear life. I'm trying to be a good person. I'm trying to hold on and and then eventually your grip strength gives out, and what happens?

You fall. But what if you really tried to hold on to the tightrope? Does gravity say, Well, they tried really hard, we should let them down easy. Does gravity say that? No.

Why not? Gravity does not have the capacity nor does gravity care. Gravity is going to do what gravity is going to do, and it's going to pull on an object. What about the person that goes out on the middle of the tightrope and is like, you know what? I don't believe in any of that stuff, and they get the tightrope going and then just back flip off.

What happens to that person? They he dead too. They both die. They both fall to their death. The person that is trying so hard to be a good person and walk this really thin line, If he slips and falls, he falls to his death.

Just the same as the person, just the same as the person that says, I don't care and fling flings themselves off. They both fall to their death. Being a good person, trying to walk the tightrope of being a good and moral person is is insufficient because you can't do it. And before I get to the good news of God's good plan, the news gets a little bit worse. Because the Bible says that there's no one righteous, no, not one.

David says, I was a sinner at my birth. So, here's the reality of the human condition. You were born. Doesn't matter what your last name is. It doesn't matter where you live.

Doesn't matter who your parents are, who your grandparents are. If you are a human Okay. I think most of us are human in here. If you are a human, you have inherited Adam's sin nature and you were born fallen. You don't even get a chance to walk the tightrope to be a good person.

Not good news. How does that fit with God's good plan? God's good plan, the purpose of the law, the law is chef's kiss. Perfect. In revealing the human condition to the human heart.

The law, the purpose of the law of god is to show and to reveal that as humanity, we can't do it on our own. Imagine if there were a circle right here And God said, okay, humanity, step in the circle. All you have to do to have right standing with me is never to step foot. And he just did it. Get back in the circle.

Stay in the circle. Don't leave the circle and you will have rights to oop and they just step out again. All of us. Remember what Isaiah said? All of us like sheep have gone astray.

So, what's the penalty or the punishment for breaking god's law? The Bible says that the punishment or the penalty or the consequence for breaking god's law is eternal forever separation from him regardless of how many good deeds you try to do to make up for it. Trying to make up your good deeds to outweigh your bad deeds is like if Gretchen were to make an omelet for you guys, and she says, oh, okay, I'm going to make a beautiful six egg omelet. And she cracks the first egg in there, mixes it up, second egg, third egg, fourth egg. The fifth egg, she cracks it open, and it is green and rotten and stinky.

You know, like a stinky sulfur egg. Smells terrible but she cracks that into your omelet anyways and then says, well, I better add a six egg, a a good egg and she scrambles that all up and makes it into an omelet. Would that be a good omelet to eat? No. The one bad egg gets through all of the five other good eggs and ruins the entire omelet.

For the person that's trying to live a life that pleases and honors god by being perfect and keeping the law. Well, we've all messed up. We've all fallen short of the glory of god. We've all sinned. And there's no way of like doing enough good that will make up for it.

So, if we've broken god's law, there's a consequence. The Bible is really clear. That is separation from god. Imagine this. This is, I'm gonna give you a a quick story about what it's like if you were to live out Isaiah 53 in terms of a courtroom, okay?

So, I don't know how Israeli courtrooms work. Probably similar to American court system. But let's say that that Colson here has broken the law, and he has committed a a heinous crime. And he is standing before the judge, and the judge says, You, Colson, have been found guilty of this crime. And then he looks in his law book and says, The punishment for that crime is capital punishment, death.

Gas chamber. Gas chamber? Electric chair? Firing squad? I don't know.

Death. Death is your punishment. And he hands Colson the verdict. Your consequences is capital punishment death. And then, in the back of the courtroom, the doors open, and a man walks in, and he says, your honor, may I approach the bench?

And the judge says, yes. What is the meaning of this? And the man walks up to the judge and says, your honor, I know that Coulson is guilty. Coulson has broken the law and the law is just and he deserves death. However, I love Coulson very much.

And your honor, I'm I want to ask you if you would be willing to let me die in his place. The judge thinks about it and says, well, the crime has been committed. The price has to be paid. This stranger walking into the courtroom wants to pay the price and the judge thinks about it and he goes, this is unusual but I will allow it and he slams down his gavel. He looks at Colson and says, Colson, you're free to go.

You stand up and you walk out the doors of the courtroom. And then he turns to the bailiff and says, arrest this man and send him to death. The police officers come, they bind his hands, they lead him out of the courtroom, and he dies. Now, let's think about Coulson for just a moment. Coulson, you're free to go.

When you walk out of the doors of the courtroom, this is I'm talking about Coulson, but all of you think this. When you walk out of the doors of the courtroom, how, as a free man or woman, how do you feel? Tell me, what do you think? How would you feel? You're free to go.

How would you feel? You feel guilty, but Stoked. Stoked? How do you feel guilty and stoked? Because I think those are both very valid.

How do you feel guilty? Was it you that said it? Yeah. How do you feel guilty? Why do you feel guilty?

You feel guilty because you know that an innocent man took your place. That man didn't commit the crimes. You said stoked. Why do you feel stoked? Because I'm free to go.

Because you're free to go. You get your life back. Off you go, you call Greta. Hey, Greta, you got plans for dinner tonight? Turns out, I'm not going to be executed.

How else might you feel? What would be going through your mind or through your heart as you walked out the doors and set foot on the street? Yes, I would feel thankful. I'm alive. But yet, there's this, what was the word you used?

Guilt. There's this guilt. Okay, so now let's fast forward the story a little bit. We'll skip ahead three days. Three days later, Coulson is walking along the street, and he stops dead in his tracks.

His eyes get really big, boom, because walking down the sidewalk at Coulson is that man that took his place and died three days earlier. And he goes, Colson okay, now pretend you're Colson. How would you respond? How would you react in that moment to see the man that paid the price was dead, and three days later, now he's walking on the sidewalk. How would you what would go through your mind if you saw him walking at you?

Fear. Well, that's really good. Why?

Well, he was dead.

Because he was dead. And what are you doing, dude? Maybe he came back to get me. Yeah. Maybe he came back for me.

Yeah. And he's mad. That's right. This man has a smile on his face. But fear.

I would be terrified. How else might you think or feel? Surprised. Surprised. What are you doing?

And then the guy says, well, I died, but then I lived. And I'm back. I couldn't bear to be apart from you. And I see so much great potential in you, Colson. I love you so much that death couldn't hold me.

The price was paid. And death, after the price was paid, death couldn't hold me. And I came back to life, and I'm looking for you. Now, if you're Colson, what might the next words out of your mouth be? What might what might you say or do?

What would you think? What be? Tell them thank you. Is that what you say? Yeah.

What else might you say or do? I'd like to get to know this person. It's really odd. This is very odd. I would like to get to know you.

How did you do that? Why did you do that? And then, when it comes to thank you, would you feel like you owe him a debt, like, to repay him? Okay. How do you repay him?

The man that died for you, how do you repay him? Well, let's be fair. If he laid down his life for you, what's the only reasonable thing that you would do for him as an expression of thank you?

Well, you can't pay him back.

You can't pay him back. I mean, yeah, you can't be like, well, I'm gonna die now because he

what can I do for you?

What can I do for you? If he laid down his life for you, what's the only reasonable thing for you to do for him?

Down your life for him.

To lay down your life for him. I wanna get to know you a little bit better. Can I buy you a Coke? Can we talk about this? What does this all mean?

The story that we've and seen. The story that we've just talked about. Thank you, Lizzie. The story that we just talked about is Isaiah 53. The Bible says that we all have gone like sheep.

We've all gone astray. We have broken god's law but God took the punishment for our breaking of the law and put it on his son, Jesus. The Bible says that he was beaten, he was whipped for our healing. The Mashiach paid the price for our sin, and he died. And then, if you look at the end of Isaiah 53, you can see that it says that he gains victory and he wins honor.

How how does a dead person give victory? I mean, they can have victory by by laying down their life but dead people can't receive honor. Because he had not broken the law, sin and the grave had no claim on him. He paid the price by laying down his life and shedding his blood because we all know Leviticus 14, right? The life of any living thing is in the blood.

And blood must be shed. The Bible says that the blood of bulls and goats, it covers atones for man's sin. But there's this amazing line. When one day, Jesus was walking along the the shore of the Sea Of Galilee and there's this wild man named John who was a cousin of Jesus and when he saw Jesus, he said, behold, the lamb of god that takes away, removes, destroys the sins of the world. Now, for anyone who could be curious why I live my life the way that I do, it's because I met the man that came into the courtroom.

Why do I do what I do? Did you take, you could take away this job and I would still have gratitude and be thankful for what Jesus did for me. I realized that my sin, breaking of the law, separates me from god. When I cry out to him, forgive me. That's too easy.

When you get to run your own universe someday, you can make up whatever rules you want. That's actually a different faith altogether. But the way that God set it up, if we ask him to forgive us of our sin, he is faithful and just. Because the price has already been paid. Imagine Coulson walking around on the street just and he sees Jesus.

Jesus is like the man in the courtroom that's like, Coulson, and he's like, hi, Jesus. I just feel so bad because you died and you were innocent and I was guilty and I just feel so bad. Jesus would stand there and be like, bro, it's me. Guess what? I'm alive.

I know you're alive but I'm just kind of I've messed up. I just try to be a good person from here on out. Jesus is like, Colson, it's me. And then in a really loving way, he's like, and then when Colson finally looks him in the eye, he goes, oh my gosh. It's you.

It's really you. And everything changes. When Jesus looked me in the eyes, everything changed. As a I was a sophomore in high school. I was my highest ambition in life was to be a dirtbag climber in the summer and a stinky ski bum in the winter.

And there's nothing wrong with those things when they're in their proper place. But I had broken God's law and it wasn't until I realized that I broke, that I had broken God's law over and over and over again that I realized that I needed a Mashiach, a savior, and that's when Jesus goes, hi. It's me. I've paid the price and I'm alive forevermore. Do you want to grab a coke and hang out?

Yes. I do. And I've been hanging out for a long time. So here's the bottom line. Gotta come all the way back to my notes.

Hidden beneath human rejection is God's redemption. Hidden beneath human rejection is God's redemption. And if there's a question that I could leave you with this evening, it's this. Could there be we don't need to look at your whole life. But maybe could there be one area of your life right now that God is trying to work on and invite you into?

But if you were to be really honest with yourself, you're just being difficult. Like that surprise party. Or going on that amazing trip with your family, but you're cranky and you're fussy and it's early in the morning and you are resistant to God's good plan. Let's take a moment and create a sacred space in time by closing our eyes. Soon as we close our eyes, everything else disappears.

Attitude of worship. We'll stay here just a few more minutes, but I just wanted to to come up here as we close our service and say we've worshiped the Lord in so many we can worship God in so many ways. We worshiped him tonight by coming and showing up and giving up our evening and spending time here, singing and looking through his word and contemplating and thinking about what Brian said. Another way we worship is by giving our tithe and our offering. And if tribe is your church, awesome.

This is what we do. We're a family. All the money that comes in goes to do the work of the ministry, and it helps calibrate our heart. It's a win win. And if tribe's not your local church, you can give or not.

It's not it's not the price of admission. It's an act of worship and it's a way that we say, god, we love you and we trust you. So, practically speaking, we don't pass buckets and we don't have a long number that nobody even me hasn't memorized yet but we do have a little black box right out outside there, and you can scan a QR code. There's an app you can download, or if you have a cash or check or something, there's a little drop box as well. You can see that on the screen.

Scanning to give. Also, when you sat down, you probably sat on one of these connect cards. It's nice and warm there under you now. If you wanna fill this out, you don't have to, but if you wanna know what tribe is up to, if you maybe showed up to Powderhorn Park this morning because that's where we've been, you're like, uh-oh, where's my friends? If you wanna get those text blasts to know what we're doing, when we're doing it, you can fill this out and put it in that same little offering box, that little black box on your way out.

And then very important, on the back of this card, there's a place to write a prayer or if you have a prayer request. If something is just really bothering you, nothing is too small and nothing is too big for our heavenly father. And so our tribe staff keeps these private and we pray over you every single week in our staff meeting. So these are very important. You can also come up to any of us and we can pray in person.

That's even better. And then just for some quick announcements before we leave, as you heard pastor Brian say on your way in, this is our new temporary home. Whether we're here for two weeks or two years, this is our next step to what the Lord would have as we sell the TMC. And I really wanna remind you if you don't know, the TMC is this building that we own, and it's very upper room and it has been perfect for the season that we have been in. The pros and cons of everything, the only thing and why we are selling it and meeting here is to grow our young families.

One of our core values here at Tribe is to grow families and to grow a kids ministry, guess what you need? Kids. And so anyway, we are this is such an awesome space here at First Bee. If you haven't been downstairs, it's where the kids meet, and it's such a great space, and we have such great teachers. We always have.

And so anyway, we're wanting to grow our family. So if anyone, please invite your friends. The TMC was a big on ramp. We loved it. It was upper room vibes, but you're touching everyone.

And that's okay. I I mean, I like it, but not everybody does. Right, Corey? Here we have tons of space, not only for the kids, but for us. So please invite your friends.

Please invite young families. We wanna grow, grow, grow. And the clutch thing is that we have a 5PM service. Everyone else meets in the morning, which is normal church standard, but we're meeting in the evening. So this could be great for anybody who loves lord, they're like, oh, we're camping or we're coming back from a soccer trip.

So this time is very intentional as well. So please invite your friends. Pastor Brian, come pray us out, please. Oh, sorry. One more thing.

Colson who and Greta who are in charge of young adults, still meeting at the TMC on Tuesdays. So everything's the same until we sell it. So still go on Tuesdays at six. Man. With this space comes a huge opportunity to serve.

And it's more than just being philanthropic or giving your time. We're doing kingdom stuff. Whether you are I I've been downstairs for a lot of the service, and there's these precious children down there, and the workers are just pouring into them. And I know they would be the same whether it was one baby or a thousand kids. It would be the same.

They're special. They're worth pouring into. And so if you love kids, Tribe Kids might be a spot for you to serve. If not, that is totally okay. We have setup team, a tear down team.

There's lots of new stuff with our new space. And so, please, let's be a family. Come see me after service. I have a a little clipboard. You know, it's on a clipboard, it's really important.

Thank you for your good plan for all of humanity. I command a blessing over each and every person here tonight. God, I ask that you would reveal yourself to us in new and wonderful and powerful ways. Father, I pray for my Israeli friends. Keep them safe.

Help them to be effective at work. They are not only soldiers, but actual legitimate ambassadors of freedom and democracy and peace for the whole world. Lord, protect their work. Bless their families, Lord. Keep them safe.
