So I come and speak to you, each one of us, by your spirit today. If right now, maybe during worship, the Lord has put in a picture, a word, maybe a scripture. Maybe it's an encouragement. Maybe it's a confession. Whatever it is, if just ask the Lord. Would that be for this group today? Would that be for us? Or do you want me to share that? Sometimes I ask the Lord. Sometimes he's like, no, sweetheart. That's just for you. And that's okay too. So we'll just be still. Gretchen has a microphone, and we're in a little bit bigger space today. So it's actually through the speaker, so you will hear your voice. But it's also because we have a lot of people that watch on our livestream, and they wanna hear what the Lord has to say most today. So it's fair to them also if we use the mic. So just take a minute. Ask the Lord. Just raise your hand if there's something that the Lord's putting on your heart. This isn't weird. This is totally biblical. And just because we're standing on the stage doesn't mean that we're the only ones that the Lord is speaking to today. Don't worry. Don't worry about anything. Instead, pray about everything. Tell God that you need and thank him for all you've done. Then you will experience God's peace, which you see them again. We can understand. To confirmation to what was shared the night before last. I woke up at three in the morning just fearful, and that's not my normal code, but it was there loud and clear. At 03:15, I was out of bed, and I was in my word, and he just gave reassurance. He said, John, I've not left you. I've not forsaken you. I know who you are. And I mean, it was just within hours that he answered that fear that was so overwhelming. And by 05:00, was back in bed sleeping like a lump. Based on what was just said, the scripture comes to mind, and that is, don't worry about anything, but tell God what you need. Give him thanks for the things that he has done, even if you have to brew on it a little bit, try to figure out what what he has done for me. And if we do that, then we will experience the peace of God. And his peace his peace will set us free. So let the words of Christ and all of their richness live in your heart and make you wise, make us wise. Thank you, Jesus, for your words are spirit, and they live in us. And your words that live in us, the words that we hear, the penetrate into our mind and go into our heart, they can transform us. And today with my brothers and sisters, we declare this is, this day, there is a transformative work. That's the way it is. That's the deal right now. Transformation in our hearts, minds, our spirit. The way that we talk, the way that we perceive, the way that we relate with people. And that transformation, the other truth is, it will set us free. I declare in the name of Jesus, freedom this day. Freedom from the things that hold us down and hold us back. That's what Jesus has for us. That's what the spirit of the Lord says today. Amen. Where we find ourselves this morning. You're worthy. Worthy. So we join our voice today with the angels in heaven, and we continue to worship you as we dig into your word today. Ask that you would just speak to each and every one of us. Just take a minute. Close your eyes and just give them permission today. You know you can come and be around the presence of the Lord and not experience it. Because his word says that he's a gentleman, and he stands at the door and he knocks, but we have to open open that that door. Door. So open that door to him today. You can trust him today. Jesus, we tell you we love you. We thank you for your fatherly love, and we thank you for the feminine traits, Alright. The kids are gonna be released to go with Carla. Here we are, church in a bar. Listen, I have had the the privilege of being ministers of the gospel in various places around the world. And I'll never forget the first time I went to a church service in a bar. We were visiting Amsterdam. We were there with our pastor, and he said that we're gonna we're gonna go to church today. They've just moved. They've gotten upgrade in their place because they were meeting on a boat in a canal in Amsterdam, but they've just rented a new place on Sunday mornings and it's a bar. So they so they went from a barge on a canal into a bar. It was a big upgrade for them. They said we come in Sunday morning. We we sweep up all the heroin needles and the empty beer cans and things, and we just get ready to have church. We would like to thank the Virginian for cleaning up all of that before we got here. But you know what? That doesn't bother us at all because the church is not a building. The church is a community and a collective of people. And to be able to see all of you here in one place this morning, it just really blesses my heart. And so how great is this? Yeah. Alright. So the question is, will we continue to meet here TBD? So to be determined. So so, you know, like when you're when you're looking at buying a new vehicle, you look online and, you know, you do all of the reviews and then you're shopping around and then you you find one at a dealership, you go and you talk to the people, you walk around it, you kick the tires, you lift the hood up, and then then what's the next thing you do? Test drive. Take it for a test drive. No, you don't. No, no, no, no. No. Alright. Before you buy it, you gotta take it for a test drive. Alright. So that's what we're doing here at the at the Virginian today. We're taking this for a test drive. As you know, we've been doing service at the TMC for almost two years now. Our format has allowed for a lot of great variety and and conversation. But our our biggest driving need is for that of adequate children's ministry space because it's one of our core values, building strong families. And so we've been on the hunt for some time now of a space that that better suits our needs according to the vision statement and the mission statement that we have for tribe. And if you remember, there are five things that gotta come together. It's gotta be at the right place, meaning not Victor, not Dritz, not Alpine, not Moran, although those places are great, wonderful, and awesome. God has called us here to Jackson Hole. It's gotta have an adequate adult meeting space. It's gotta have adequate children's meeting space. The parking's gotta be adequate and it's gotta be at the right place excuse me, at the right price. And so we're all our leadership team is always on the hunt looking for those five stars to align. And this is one of the candidates and that's why we're here today and why we're celebrating. Well, it's not why we're celebrating Mother's Day. We're celebrating Mother's Day because it is Mother's Day. It just happens to be in a bar. So today, for Mother's Day, if you are sitting near your mother or a mother, please feel free frequently throughout the service to give them little pats on their knees, little touches, little scratches and rubs to let them know that they are special special and valuable today. Dad, yes, that's exactly right, you know, just like that. Nina's like, if you have your bible with you this morning, would you turn to the book of Genesis? Pretty easy to find. The book of Genesis. Today we want to honor mothers, women and women who will be and have been mothers. I never feel too obligated to follow the rhythms of like our American culture, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, you know, whatever else comes up on on Sundays. But today, I did feel a special a special message the Lord put on my heart for Mother's Day. And without any disclaimers, we will we'll get into reading Genesis chapter one. And in just a moment, I'll tell you where we're gonna start reading. But we want to celebrate and honor women and mothers today. But before we go even too much further, I feel like it's important in this day and age for us to slow down just a moment and even talk about that definition. Let's define some terms this morning. And not according to popular opinion or culture or anything else. But since God created them, why don't we let him define terms for us this morning? So Genesis chapter one, and we're gonna read just a few verses together. I'm gonna start reading in verse 27. Says this, so God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God, he created them. Male and female, he created them. Then God blessed them and said, be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish of the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground. So this is the mandate and the responsibility of mankind. Verse 29, he said, then God said, look, I have given you every seed bearing plant throughout the earth and all of the fruit trees for your food. And I have given every green plant as food for all of the wild animals and the birds in the sky and the small animals that scurry along the ground, everything that has life. And that's what happened. Then God looked over all he had made and saw that it was very good. And the evening passed and the morning came, marking the sixth day. So in that passage, we clearly see that God's word states that according to his design, he created human beings with only two sexes, male and female. Today I'm not talking about gender, I'm talking about biological sex. You picked a good day to come to church. God creates and defines women as beautiful and distinct from man by their chromosomes, their hormones, their bone structure, and their anatomy, and their wonderful traits and attributes that express some of God's nature. And then I wrote this in our notes, in my notes. As our global society moves further and further away from godly standards and objective truth, we slip further into a post truth society of subjective relativism where people's individual prerogatives supersedes facts and truth. And now we're at the point in our society where we dare not even speculate at the common sense definition of a woman. There's a verse in Proverbs, and in Proverbs, I think it's chapter 22. It says this, do not move the ancient boundary stone that has been set there by your ancestors and thus cheating your neighbor. And maybe that makes a lot of sense to you, perhaps not. But in ancient ancient Judea, whenever a there was an allotment given to Israel and each tribe had their own allotment with with boundaries. And then within each tribe, there were different clans, and within clans, there were families, and each family had their plot of ground for agriculture. Israel and the land are intimately tied together. And as established by Moses from the Lord, according to their tribes, their clans, and their families, each family had an allotment. This is your field to grow your crops and to to have agriculture, which is your source of life and your livelihood and a source of income for you. And those boundaries were marked by big stones or piles of stones. You might think of them as like cairns today, like trail markers today. Sometimes there were stone walls that were put up, a lot of times it was just a stone that was just placed randomly out in the middle of a field. And a father would take his son and take his family and he would be with his son and he would walk around the property he would say, see this, marker, this is the intersection of this family's property and this family's property and this family's property and everything this way. This is our property. This is our land and this is our field. How easy would it be in the cover of darkness to just go and move the stone? I I need to my family's growing. I need a little bit more room or I'm entitled to this or or this guy, he's been he's a he's a real jerk and he's been if I just nudge it, the bible says don't move those ancient boundary stones. And I feel that so strong in my heart that there is an attempt today to move ancient boundary stones and markers. Not not that has been established by any kind of county survey or any type of culture, but that has been established by the Lord. And I hope that you don't hear what I'm not going to say today. Because if you think that I am making a political statement or if you think that I'm making a statement contrary to a a a group or any individual, all I can say is you just must not know me. Because that's not my intention, that's not my that's not my heart, that's not my goal, and I feel like I'm careful with my words today to to be accurate and precise what I feel like the Lord has put on my heart. But it is true, and no one can deny it, that we're at a point in our society where where many people in society would dare not even speculate at the common sense definition of what a woman is. Did you know that two thousand years ago, there's a guy named Paul. He addressed the situation that we find ourselves in today. We've gone from Genesis, let's hang a ride and go over to the book of Romans. Let's read from Romans for a moment. Ordinarily, when we're meeting at the TMC, we have a we have a mic that gets passed around. We're able to to make comments, to ask questions, make connections. Today, today I I I have the mic. I don't wanna The only handheld we have. Because it's the only wireless handheld we have. But in the in the in the spirit of how we do things at the TMC, if there's somebody with a question or a comment, I really would like this to be more of a conversation, a dialogue than a monologue. And so just hold up your hand and I'll get the mic to you. We'll we'll see. Does Connor where is Connor? Oh, do you have that EQ? Mhmm. Okay. Alright. So we never took this we never took this out in front of the mains. Fine. I I didn't. Oh, you walked out there in front of the mains. Okay. So it's not gonna like, friend. Okay. Romans chapter one, and I'm going to read verse 18 through 32. As I just mentioned, 2,000 ago, Paul addressed the situation that we find ourselves in today. Romans chapter one. I'm gonna start reading in verse 18. You can follow along, and I'm gonna go to verse 32. But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the sky and the earth, and though everything God made they through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, so they have no excuse for not knowing God. How many people, even if you're even if you were one of them, that you have heard made a comment about the mountains? Oh, wow. God's creation. Whether you're on the river or in in the mountains, you're like, oh, this is this is my church. Like, oh, it's just so beautiful. And yes, it is beautiful. But falling in love with creation here in this valley is like reading an amazing book and then asking where you can get a bottle of the ink that that book was written with. You've completely missed the point. The the beauty of these mountains, the beauty of creation is all intended to point us to the creator of the mountains. And God says that his divine attributes and his invisible qualities can be touched and experienced as a signpost in a mile marker pointing you to the creator of these things. Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. Now if this is if this is really challenging to you personally, I don't wanna soften it, but I wanna maybe maybe sprinkle a little bit of sprinkle, dribble, a little bit of honey on the spoon as God's word goes down your gullet. Listen to this. Back in '18, but God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful wicked people. Woah. Wicked people. You're like, woah. Directing that like at a person. I mean, if that's you, you should just turn and repent. But you can also additionally think of it as an ideology. I'm not pointing my finger today at any group or any individual. I'm not making any kind of political statement. But there is an ideology. The Bible clearly says that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, any one person or political party. Our struggle is against powers, principalities, and spiritual forces in the realm that we don't see every day, but are every bit as much at work as if there it was a physical force. This is what Paul is addressing. Yes. They knew God, powers, principalities, rulers of dark places, but they would not worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up of foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused, claiming to be wise. We're now enlightened. We've moved past those old archaic boundaries. They instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping a glorious ever living God, they worshiped idols, false ideologies made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. And so, these are some of the most terrifying words in the Bible. And so God abandoned them to whatever shameful things their heart desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even women turned against natural ways to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And men instead of having normal sexual relations with women burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of the sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do the things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, gossip. They're backsliders, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They even invent new ways of sinning and they are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and their hearts have no mercy. They know God's justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them many ways. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them. Here's the main takeaway from that passage. When a society rejects God, it increasingly becomes according to his word, dark, confused, and foolish. And when and when that happens, the the lid comes off and boundary stones begin to be moved and encroach on territory that does not belong to them. I'm a I'm a biological man. I walk in the mantle of manhood. I am a father. And there's something that stirs deep inside of me as a man and as a father who has a duty and an obligation and a responsibility to protect my daughter that rises up inside of me when I see ancient boundary stones being moved that that that makes me hot under the collar. Now I Here's what I'm saying. My daughter, who is a woman, she doesn't need, let me finish this, she doesn't need protection, she doesn't need help as if she's helpless and can't do it on her own. She doesn't need me as a man or her father for her to be complete as a woman Because if you know my daughter, you know how fierce and tenacious she is, and you know her mom. And all of you in here are either a mother or a woman, or you know a woman. And you know that they are strong. You know that they are they can be confident. You know that they carry a strength with them that us that us guys would just you know, buckle our knees and and and crumble under. And so they're for them to be all that God has called them to be, they don't need us men. But according to God's standards and his principles and his way, there is a burden of responsibility that is placed upon uniquely men to affirm boundary stones that have been placed by God so that women can flourish and be all that God has created them to be, designed them to be, and to live to their fullest potential. And when I see boundary stones begin to get moved, that is a direct threat to the responsibility that God has given me. As a result of this darkness, confusion, and foolishness, it says that to fill the void, the bible says that to fill the void of worshiping the creator God, man places himself and worships his own bankrupt philosophies and ideologies. It is right into the current cultural milieu that we find ourselves that Jesus steps. John chapter 14. Let's see what Jesus says. In John chapter 14, you don't necessarily need to turn there, but in John chapter 14, Jesus says, I am the truth. Not what society says, not what you feel is right in your own heart. Jesus says, I am the truth. Jesus also says in John chapter 12, he says that he only ever speaks with his father's authority. So when Jesus says, I am the truth, he is the embodiment of that truth, and he doesn't say what is gonna get him more followers. In fact, Jesus is the only preacher I ever know to give a reverse altar call. Us preachers, we like to say, hey, if you wanna make a decision in the positive and in the affirmative, you know, like to to give your life to to Jesus, you know, raise your hand, come, you know, be a part of, come join, come join. Jesus was the only person in all of history of preachers that I know of to give a reverse altar call and say, hey, if this is stepping on your toes, now would be a good time to just step out. He loved people so much that he was willing to speak challenging and difficult things. And he would respect a person's disagreement. I don't want you just like following me along even though you disagree in your heart. If you disagree, he said it in a really loving way. I love you, but there's the door. And the bible says there were a lot of people that were like, it's too much. It's too much. They turned and left. Then he turned to his leadership team and said, how about you? Do you need to do you need to go? Not in a threatening sort of way like like trying to pull some sort of reverse psychology on them. But he's like, I need you to I need you to know who I am, what I stand for, and I want you to have integrity. He valued people's individual integrity so much that he allowed them to choose even with the strength and the command of his personality. He turns to them, those that have been following him closely and Closestly? And said, how about you? And it was Peter that was like, this is really hard, but where else would we go? You have the words of life is what Peter said. Another place Jesus specifically addressed this idea, this this theme of biological sex. In Matthew chapter 19 verse four and five, you can just read. You can you can write it down. I'll read it for you. Matthew chapter 19 verse four and five, it says this. Jesus is answering a question and he says to the people that he's addressing, haven't you read the scriptures? Jesus replied, they record that from the beginning, God made them male and female. And he said, this explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife and the two are united in one as one. In a society that feigns tolerance and inclusion today, Jesus demonstrates actual inclusion and compassion. He touched and healed those that were outcast. He restored those that had been cancelled. He accepted those who had been banned. He loved and understood those who had been mislabeled. In first century Judea, women were frequently all of the above. They were outcast, they were cancelled and dismissed, they were banned, they were mislabeled. But Jesus but Jesus, he honored and he celebrated women and mothers. How did he do that? He respected them. He had conversations with them instead of just dismissing, ah, don't even open your mouth. Did you know that in a court of law, a woman's testimony was not even considered as admissible evidence against herself or or she was right there when the crime happened? Her testimony was not even allowed in court because she was a woman. But Jesus respected them. He included them. He listened to them. He trusted them. He embraced them. And he healed them. And he does the same for all of us who had just come to him. I was was an outcast. I was cancelled. I was banned. I was just like what we read in Romans earlier. Rejecting God, turning to my own foolish ways. I loved skiing and climbing and mountain biking and camping in the mountains and worshiped the mountains as my God. Deeply, instinctively, intuitively, I knew the God of creation. But I and in the midst of his creation, I rejected the creator because I didn't want to have a responsibility to him for my actions and my desires and my mindset. I wanted to play in the mountains and really that made me my own God. And I was foolish, I was, what does it say, I was dark, I was confused, and I was oh so foolish. But then Jesus showed me respect, he included me, he listened to me, he trusted me, he embraced me, he healed me. That's my Jesus. Early on, we we asked a question all the way back at the beginning. So we're gonna make a a circle here. That's where I'm going. It's a circle. Earlier we said, we asked this question, why do we celebrate Mother's Day? And before we could even get to that answer, we had to define terms. We spent a while defining the terms, not what not what is cultural or what is even counter cultural or what I think or what I believe, but what does God say? What does God say about the boundary stones, the ancient boundary stones that he set up for sex, as in male or female? And he designated them as male and female. And there's a there's a very a dire there's a very dire warning about those who cheat their neighbor and move that boundary stone. And so today as a as a father, as as a husband, as a man who feels a sense of responsibility to affirm the boundary stone that God had set, as we honor women and mothers today, we had to take the time. We had to take the time to hear what God has to say. If you're mad at me, that's okay. I I well, I don't know. I mean, it it hurt it hurts my little heart because I like everybody to be friends with me, but I'll get over it. You can't you can't do this for very long and and have everybody like you all the time. And if you wanna be mad at tribe, alright. You wanna be mad at the Virginian or that buffalo or that moose? Okay. If you're angry, you're twisted up inside, if you strongly disagree with what I'm saying, let me allow you let me give you a place where you can direct your your your vigor, your rancor, your bitterness, your confusion, your pain right to the God of the Bible. He's big enough. He's strong enough. In fact, you come in there all hot with your fist balled up, stomping in there with steam coming out of your nose, and he's gonna be like, oh, there you are. Get in here. Let's talk about this. Listen. Listen. Listen. The bible says in Zephaniah three eleven that he'll quiet you. All of your fears, of your rage, he will quiet you with his love. The Bible says that he will exalt over you with singing. He said, come here. Come here. There are men if you're a man or woman, a husband, a mother, father, a wife, a cousin, I think of he he just says, come here. Come here. Come. Sit on my lap. I know that you're upset. Let's talk about it. Come here. He will quiet you with his love. He will exalt over you by singing. So to answer the question that we first asked this morning, why celebrate women and mothers? Listen, we honor God when we recognize his sovereign design, and that's why we celebrate women and moms today. That was the end of my notes. Think about this with this message today or just anything in life. I always ask the Lord, Lord, have I ever feel offended? Like, when you search my heart, why? Why why do I feel offended by that? What what is it in that you know, what that person said or whatever? What is it? Well, you sort it out. You sort it out because you are holy and you are good and you have what's best for me in mind at all times. Sometimes it's correction, it's discipline, Sometimes it's just wrapping me up. So just just always sing the Lord on that. What I surrender, whatever it is you're trying to do in your journey, in Jesus' name. Psalm one thirty nine at the very end talks about that. And it's the psalmist praying, and it's something good for you. I open my bible every morning, and sometimes I remember to pray that, and sometimes I don't. But it says at the end of Psalm one thirty nine, Lord, search my heart, know me, and point out to in me anything that offends you. So it's just a good prayer in this world of constant offense that we live in, whether it's right or wrong. But we're gonna have something special here in just a little bit, but I just wanted to come and worship the Lord one more way before we leave corporately together. So we worship the Lord. I don't know if you know this, but we worship something all the time. Right? It's something that we're giving our time, our talent, and our treasure to that whether we realize it or not, we're putting in the forefront of our life. So when we come together on Sunday, it is our hope that Sunday is not the only Jesus time. We hope it's just one small slice of your weekly pie. We don't want it to be 95% and then you go do something then come back and just check the box on Sunday. It is a desire that we have as a tribe family that that's Sunday morning is just one small piece. So as we worship the Lord today through honoring him and his word, as we worship him through words and music and song. We worship him when we come together corporately because this is what we see in the bible to do as a local church. We bring our tithe and above and beyond that is our offering. We bring to him every Sunday. And it's a way when we give money to the Lord, sometimes it feels counterintuitive, giving money away. And some of you have no problem with that at all. You're very generous. But we do it because the Bible says so. And if trying to visit your local church, don't even worry about it. Give to your local church. And giving and being generous to other places is wonderful too, but there's something special and supernatural that the Lord will do when you bring your tithe and your offering to him through a local church. And the amount is up to you. We don't tell you what to give, but it's something to really seek the Lord because this is a way that we can say, God, I love you and I trust you. Lydia Jackson is hard for a lot of us, financially, not visually. But we say, God, this is all yours anyway. I love and I trust you so much. I'm gonna bring a portion of my finances because you tell me to and give it to you and hope we just say, I surrender that to you. It's not mine anyway. You're just letting me be a steward of it. And let me be found worthy and a good steward of what you give me. Money, relationships, how we use, like I said, our time, our talent, and our treasure. So as we do that today, whether you're giving now or another time throughout the week, my rhythm is when I get paid, and so whatever your rhythm is, it's fine. But we're gonna bring our time to the Lord and as an act of worship and surrender and trust to him today. And before we pray, practically speaking, we don't have buckets or anything to pass today. If you see someone with a lanyard, if you have cash or check, you can just give it to one of us at the end and we'll get it to the right spot. But the easiest way is either our website or as you see on the screen, there's some instructions with your smartphone. You just type open up a new text to the number 84321 and just type the amount that you wanna get. That's an easy way to do that. So let's close our eyes and just, as a tribe family, come together in another way of worship. Heavenly father, we thank you for who you are and for how you love. You're such a good God. You're such a good parent. As we think about moms today, you're the perfect parent. You discipline when we discipline, but not not because you don't love us, because you do. We thank you for the conviction of the Holy Spirit, whether it's in my area of finances or relationships or what was spoken or anything in life. Like a good parent, you correct exactly like you need to so that we can recalibrate and get back on track. Just like a kid falling off of his bike the first time he's learning to use training wheels. I'll help you. Hi, sweet boy. I'll help you. Hi, sweet girl. We get you help us to get back on that bike and to go. So Lord, we just love you and we thank you and we praise you for who you are and your character and your nature. We thank you for the opportunity to be good stewards of what you put into our hands, relationships, money, everything. So as an act of worship and surrender and trust to you today, heavenly father, we say, This tithe and this offering that we bring to you, Lord, do what you can own only you can do with it. We thank you that the your love will be spread because of it. We thank you that more people will be reached for your name and for the gospel because of it. Thank you for the practical implications that it has so we can do ministry. We can be your hands and your feet to share the love of God to others. This is a broken, lost, and dying world, and we as Christians have the honor of carrying your name. Let us be that, Lord, and thank you that these finances will will go to help and to that among other things, Lord. We love you and trust you. It's in Jesus' name we all say. Amen. Just a few quick announcements before we get you out of here today. I love this space. Nobody's knees are touching today. Maybe you like that and you have seen have to get a But you make it time. Yes. There's still time. There's still time. But here on your seat, here's a few announcements and then we have something special for for the kids. Now get you guys out. Here we Thank you, Jamie. This was on your seat. This is not to sign up for small groups yet. This is a very important piece as our tribe leadership teams makes decisions for this summer. This is a small group interest card. So whether you can put on there no. I I hate small groups. It's actually helpful because then we know, you know, who's wanting what. So we really wanna we feel like the Lord's leading us to do something kinda special this summer. Still still meeting on Sundays, but To connect. To connect with each other in a deeper way and to find that community outside of Sunday morning church. So this is an interest card. Please take just a moment to fill this out and to let us know. And again, you can actually just come leave them right up here at the end of service. But we wanna see what you're interested in. We're gonna put stuff together for you. Another thing is this, if you wanna use all your time, talent, and treasure to go serve children that are so precious to the Lord, we have an opportunity. This is we partner with this ministry all the time, but down in Riverton, Wyoming, we're gonna do kids VBS at the reservation. So that'll be a lot of fun. Elisha will be there. He's there working and putting that together. And, man, if you wanna do something for the kingdom, come work with kids for real. And especially if you're like, ugh. That's probably for you. But we're not gonna sign up today. We have some sign ups at the TNC, but June twenty five, twenty six, twenty seven, and twenty eight. Mark out those few days to come and help, and we'll give you more details later. We're gonna load up on the tri bus and go over there and serve our little hearts out. And then if you need prayer today for anything when we leave, come find someone with a lanyard or do you have a designated spot? Maybe around the pool table over here on this other side. Just come find us. We don't want you to leave here today feeling icky about anything. Have to have to do with church or not, have to do with Mother's Day or not, but come find us someone at the land here that we'd be love to pray for you today. Alright. You see me oh, yes. Yes. We have something special, but last thing is this. Right over here, we have some Mother's Day presents that we'll lovingly put together for you. So if you are a mama, you deserve so much. I hope that you woke up to breakfast in bed, but Trump would love to serve you by having you choose a gift. There's a couple different entities. Cooking a baby too. You mean, like, if you got one growing? I have one cooking inside. So, yes, please pick one up on your way out the door, and we love our women, our mentors, our our aunties, whoever. If you are not necessarily a biological mom, but you have mothered somebody, we love you. Pick up a gift as well. We deserve that too. Alright. We're gonna have our tribe kids come up and do just a little special something here on Mother's Day. What do you love the most about you that she's loving What's your mom's favorite thing to do? Hiking. What do you love most about your mom? That she loves me. She gardens a mom. Gardens? Yes. What do you love about your mom? We love you, mama, so much. Pastor Brian, will you come to your mom to handle it? It's okay to pull out your cell phone and text your mom real quick if you haven't done that yet. Text your mom. Tell her happy Mother's Day and that you're in church. And she's just gonna love it so, so very much. My mom is in heaven. You'll get to meet her someday, and it's so not theologically accurate. But, like, if you're up there listening, mom, I love you. I'll I'll see you as soon as I'm done here, or you come back down here with Jesus, and it'll be a good time.
