What does Tribe teach about amalekite attacks?

But opportunity can be just as disorienting, something that looks good on its face but would pull you off the path you have already said yes to. Either way, the call is not to live in dread waiting for the next hit. Brian points to John 16:33, where Jesus says plainly that in this world there will be trouble, and then says to take heart because He has overcome the world. As Brian puts it, "Life comes with Amalekite raids. Jesus himself has said it."

What the story of Moses, Joshua, Aaron, and Hur shows is that obedience in one arena carries weight in another. Moses holding the staff above his head on the hillside had no obvious mechanical connection to what was happening in the valley below, yet the outcome in the valley turned on it. Brian says, "Your obedience in one area unlocks victory in another area." The posture of Moses with arms outstretched, held up by the people around him, pictures surrender more than strength, and that is precisely the point.
