What does Tribe teach about biblical land promises?

At Tribe, the teaching on biblical land promises starts with ownership. Pastor Brian laid down three foundation stones before any historical or political conversation began: Psalm 24:1 establishes that the earth belongs to the Lord and everything in it, Daniel 4:35 makes clear that God does what he pleases among angels and people with no one able to stop him or demand an explanation, and Leviticus 25:23 specifies that even Israel held the land as tenant farmers, not permanent owners. The point Brian pressed home was straightforward: God owns all of it, he acts freely with his own property, and he is trustworthy in doing so, even when his decisions feel like they were not run past us first.
From that foundation, Pastor Brian walked through the historical arc of the land, tracing the promise in Genesis 15:18 from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates, Israel's long absence in Egypt and the peoples who settled the land during that time, the conquest under Moses and Joshua, and the centuries of foreign rule from Rome through the Ottoman Empire, the British Mandate, and into the modern conflicts of 1948 and 1967. He acknowledged the weight of displaced peoples and did not sidestep the tension, but held it against the biblical claim that God's purposes over a piece of ground are not overturned by political lines. As Brian put it, "Borders drawn without God are lines drawn against God."
The teaching did not stay at the geopolitical level. Pastor Brian brought the whole conversation into personal territory, pressing the congregation toward the land God has given each person in Christ. He was candid that the enemy works to shrink what believers think they are allowed to claim, and he named it directly: "That old dirty devil will try to cheat you out of land and say that that's too much to ask." His stated heart for the room was this: "My heart is that you would own and fully possess all that God has said belongs to you."
