What does Tribe teach about blood of christ?

At Tribe, the teaching on the blood of Christ is rooted in the story of the first Passover in Exodus 12. Brian walked the congregation through the account of Israel marking their doorposts with the blood of a lamb, and he pressed past the familiar idea of protection to something deeper. The blood, he taught, was not simply a shield that kept destruction at a distance. It was more like a portal, an opening through which God's presence could enter the house and dwell there from the inside.

Brian drew on the congregation's earlier work in Leviticus to fill in the background. In the Old Testament sacrificial system, when a worshiper laid hands on an animal, they were transferring something of their own identity into it. The blood that followed carried that life into the holy of holies, where it could meet with God's presence. That same logic, he argued, runs through Passover night. The blood on the doorpost was doing more than marking a household as off-limits to judgment. It was making a way for God to come in.

He also brought in the Hebrew word behind 'Passover,' pesach, which carries the image of a mother bird hovering protectively over a nest. That picture shaped how Tribe understands what God was doing that night and what the blood of Jesus accomplishes now. The teaching lands not just on forgiveness or safety from judgment, but on the presence of God filling a person from within, not merely standing guard from without.
