What does Tribe teach about clarity?

At Tribe, the teaching on clarity starts with a word Brian felt the Lord gave him for 2024: that this year would bring an exponential increase in complexity, but that for people who have eyes to see and ears to hear, there would be a simultaneous increase in clarity. The challenge is not just surviving the complexity but learning to respond to it the way Moses did, by leaning into who God is rather than being swept along by circumstances. Brian drew a contrast between Israel, a people who knew God's acts, and Moses, who knew God's character, and said the goal for the Tribe fam is to be people who know God's character deeply enough that complexity does not undo them.
In the second part of the series, Brian worked through Habakkuk 3 and Isaiah 35 together with the congregation, letting people in the room surface observations he said he would not have arrived at on his own. The group landed on the conclusion that both passages describe the return of Jesus, and Brian argued that the specific details of those texts, the blooming wilderness, the corridor through the desert, the rays of light flashing from God's hands, point toward something that has not happened yet in recorded history. That prophetic clarity, seeing where history is headed, is part of what Brian presented as the foundation for personal clarity in whatever a person is facing right now.
The teaching holds that clarity is not the absence of complexity. It is something that grows alongside it for people who are paying attention. Brian pointed to Isaiah 35:4, where God 'will come' with both vengeance and salvation, as a text that is still ahead, still unfolding, and therefore still relevant to how people orient themselves today. Understanding the bigger story, where it comes from and where it is going, is part of how Tribe approaches finding solid ground in a complicated season.
