What does Tribe teach about clarity in chaos?

At Tribe, the teaching on clarity in chaos starts with a conviction Pastor Brian carried into 2024: that as the world grows exponentially more complex, God is simultaneously releasing an unusual measure of clarity for those whose hearts are positioned to receive it. He was careful to say he holds this humbly, not as a prophet, but as a lead pastor sharing what he believes he has heard. The underlying logic of the whole series is that complexity and clarity are not opposites arriving at different times. They arrive together, and the people who only see the complexity miss the promise attached to it.
The congregation worked through Luke 24 together, and what they found in the text shaped the series from the start. The angels at the tomb, Jesus on the Emmaus road, Jesus eating fish in front of frightened disciples, none of it introduced anything foreign. Jesus kept returning to what he had already said, and the disciples finally saw what was always there. Brian drew from that a definition of clarity that runs through every week of the series: it is not new information, it is existing truth becoming visible in a new way, the way a verse you have read a hundred times suddenly lands differently when you need it most. From there the series moved week by week through the practical paths toward that clarity, including simplicity, worship, simple obedience, stepping back from noise, and finally intimacy with Jesus.
That last turn is where the teaching landed hardest. Working through Mark 14 and Luke 7, the congregation noticed that in both stories, the two people with the clearest sight were Jesus and the woman who drew close to him, while the disciples and the Pharisees, physically present but relationally distant, missed what was happening entirely. Brian named that directly: "Proximity does not necessarily equal intimacy." The promise underneath the whole series is that no complexity arrives in your life unaccompanied. As Brian put it, "There will never ever ever ever be a problem that comes your way that God doesn't attach one of His beautiful transformative promises."
