On fortune tellers and altered states from drug use, the teaching is that the enemy operates by putting the attractive benefits on top and burying the real terms underneath, and a positive or even fun experience does not mean the transaction was safe. The same passage that names the dangers is the one where God promises spring rain in abundance, and that promise is not for people who have it all together. I'm going to bring healing. I'm going to bring restoration."
