What does Tribe teach about clothed in salvation?

At Tribe, the teaching on being clothed in salvation is rooted in Isaiah 61:10, where God dresses his people with garments of salvation and a robe of righteousness. Brian spent real time with that image, looking at the Hebrew behind the word translated 'dressed me,' which carries the sense of being completely surrounded or ensconced, so that what is on the outside is all anyone can see. The point he drew out is that when God looks at a person, he sees that outer garment, the righteousness that has been given, not earned, not scraped together by effort or performance.
That gift is already there, but Brian pressed on why people so rarely live inside it. The tendency, he said, is to reach past the given garment and pull forward old failures, old shame, things God has already covered. He put it plainly: 'How many times do we look in our metaphysical closet and we're like, that's too nice to wear today.' The teaching here is that salvation clothing is not a reward for a good week. It is something God has already placed on his people, and the invitation is simply to stop undressing.
The session also drew on accounts from the congregation itself. Two people described dreams and visions around the image of being given new garments when they returned to God. A third described provision showing up at an impossible moment, which he read as God making sure he was prepared. Brian held all of that alongside the idea that Sukkot, the feast of tabernacles, is still a forward-looking celebration, a rehearsal of what is still to come when Christ returns. To celebrate it is to practice trusting that what God has already put on his people is enough.
