What does Tribe teach about easter resurrection?

At Tribe, the teaching on Easter and the resurrection centers on a single conviction: deliverance from sin and death has never depended on the condition of the person, only on the blood applied. On Easter Sunday 2025, Brian Hunter opened in Exodus 12 and walked through the first Passover in careful detail, noting that God's instructions said almost nothing about the moral state of the families inside the house. The entire weight of the passage falls on the blood on the door frame. Brian traced that forward fifteen hundred years to John the Baptist pointing at Jesus and calling him the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, not merely covers them the way the blood of bulls and goats did under the old covenant. As Brian put it, "That night, deliverance depended on the blood applied, not the people inside."
On Easter Sunday 2023, Brian preached from the Parable of the Wedding Banquet in Matthew 22, holding the service in a tent on an ice rink at Red Aspen. He taught that the wedding feast in the parable points to a real future event described in Revelation 19, the wedding supper of the Lamb, and that the wedding garments the king provides are a picture of salvation itself. Drawing on Isaiah 61, he explained that God has custom-fitted clothing of salvation and a robe of righteousness for every person who will receive it. The danger he pressed on was the man found at the feast without those garments, representing anyone who wants God's blessings on their own terms, or who assumes that familiarity with church is the same thing as personally surrendering to Jesus.
Both messages carry the same underlying weight. Whether Brian is standing in Romans 3 and 6 to establish that every person is a lawbreaker before a holy God, or standing in the parable to describe the moment a person is left speechless before the king with no valid excuse, the point is the same: the remedy is real, it is freely given, and it is enough. Brian says, "It doesn't matter what you've done. It doesn't matter where you've been. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
