What does Tribe teach about eternal salvation?

At Tribe, the teaching on eternal salvation starts with the question of where a person has placed their deepest trust. Brian Sauvé used the image from Isaiah 22 of a peg driven firmly into a wall to ask whether the hooks people rely on are actually strong enough to bear the weight of their beliefs. The concern is not just intellectual but personal: Brian says, "God loves you so much he doesn't want to see your beliefs be rested on a hook that cannot bear the weight."
Brian worked through several hooks that feel solid but ultimately fail, including the beauty of creation itself. The mountains in Jackson are real and impressive, but they have no personhood, no capacity to love, and no ability to fill the relational need every person carries. A hook that cannot relate to you cannot hold the weight of your life's meaning or your eternal standing before God.
The teaching moves from that toward the person of Jesus specifically. Brian presented the question of who Jesus is in direct terms: Brian says, "He was either a liar, might have been a lunatic, or if you really consider his claims, the only reasonable conclusion is that he is Lord." The God who made people on purpose, whose defining attribute is love, and who entered creation in the person of Jesus is, in this teaching, the only hook strong enough to bear that weight.
