What does Tribe teach about millennial kingdom?

At Tribe, the teaching on the millennial kingdom starts with the Lord's Prayer. Brian Hunter pressed the room to read the line 'your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven' not as a personal or spiritual sentiment but as a literal prayer for a real, physical, governmental reign of God to be established on planet Earth with Jesus as its head. From there Brian walked through Revelation 20, which he described as a scenic overlook rather than a full climb, a passage that pictures a thousand-year reign of Jesus on earth with believers seated on thrones and given authority to judge. Tribe holds a pre-millennial position on this, meaning that reign is still ahead and not something already underway, mostly, Brian said, because Jesus has not come back yet and cannot be ruling physically if he has not returned.
A big part of what Brian has taught on this is what believers will actually be doing during that reign. He used the parable language of coins and cities to press the point home, noting that faithfulness now is preparation for real governing responsibility then: Brian says, "You've been faithful with the 10 coins that I've entrusted you. What does he say as your reward? I'll give you 10 cities to be in charge of." The first and central assignment he worked through is helping to renew the earth. He read from Romans 8, where creation is described as groaning and waiting to be set free from decay, and from Isaiah 11, with its picture of wolves lying down with lambs, and held that up not as poetry to spiritualize away but as a coming literal reality.
Brian also drew from Isaiah 58 and 61, which describe God's people rebuilding ancient ruins and restoring cities, and connected those passages to the broader work of preparing an environment where God's presence can dwell. The thread running through all of it is that resurrection life, the new body, and the millennial reign are not abstract theological categories but a real future assignment that shapes how believers live and what they train for right now.
