What does Tribe teach about miracles?

Brian also teaches that the faith behind a miracle does not always belong to the person who receives it. Israel had almost no framework for trusting God at that moment, yet the water came anyway. It was Moses who acted in obedience by striking the stone, and Israel received what someone else's faith opened up, a pattern Brian connects to the paralyzed man whose friends carried him to Jesus. First Corinthians 10:4 adds another layer: Paul identifies that rock as Christ himself, so the provision in the wilderness was never just water from stone.

Brian anchors it in a story from his own family, a month in Tulsa when he and Lissa were $750 short with no way to close the gap, and then something completely unexpected happened. He says, "The reward was for 750. The exact amount that we were short that month." Brian puts it plainly: "When you remember, it is a weapon." Calling to mind what God has already done gives you something real to fight with in whatever you are facing right now.
