What does Tribe teach about virgin birth?

The weight Brian has put on all of this is not merely historical or doctrinal. The staggering odds involved in a prophecy like this being fulfilled exactly as written are meant to produce something in the listener. As Brian puts it, "The odds are so staggeringly impossible. It should cause the human heart to just bow in awe and amazement." And if God bent the natural order to send Jesus into the world this way, Brian's invitation is to trust that the same God has not run out of care for the specifics of an individual life.
