The thread that ties the teaching together is worship. Brian says, "In the generation of the return of the Lord, the church will be marked by worship." He has organized that claim around three arenas where worship will define the church of that generation: a deeper revelation of Jesus, worship in the midst of God's judgments, and a posture of the heart that holds steady when headlines and scripture start echoing each other. He has also offered a working definition of God's judgments, saying, "The judgments of God are designed to remove any obstacle or barrier that hinders love." The book of Revelation, in this teaching, is less a timeline to decode than an invitation to see Jesus clearly and respond with the same worship that fills every layer of the vision in chapter five.
