What does Tribe teach about clarity confusion?

At Tribe, the teaching on clarity and confusion starts with an honest look at how messy real life actually is. Brian used the story of Moses and the Exodus not as a tidy three-point illustration but as a slow walk through Exodus 5, where the foremen are being beaten, the straw supply has collapsed, the Israelites are turning on Moses, and Moses himself is going back to God asking why he was even sent. The point was to make the story recognizable, to show that confusion in the middle of something God has called you to is not a sign you missed him.
What Brian kept coming back to is that clarity does not arrive through more information or a louder word from God. It comes through plain obedience to what God has already said. He described the temptation to absorb the how, to take on responsibilities that belong to God and get lost trying to figure out how things will be freed or redeemed or brought together. The answer to that temptation is a single step of faith. As Brian says, "Your faith releases his grace."
The deeper root of that obedience, in this teaching, is the fear of the Lord. Brian says, "It is your fear of him that will keep you close beside him," and he pressed that further: "You don't need to hear his voice. You don't need to discern his will. What you need is the fear of the Lord." For anyone sitting in genuine confusion right now, the teaching at Tribe is that the path forward is not more clarity first and then obedience. It is obedience first, in the small thing, and clarity follows.

1 Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.
2 Yahweh’s angel appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3 Moses said, “I will go now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.”
4 When Yahweh saw that he came over to see, God called to him out of the middle of the bush, and said, “Moses! Moses!” He said, “Here I am.”
