What does Tribe teach about community?

At Tribe, the teaching on community starts with a warning about how isolation happens. Brian worked through John 10, where Jesus describes the wolf's work among the flock, and the point he landed on was that the enemy rarely attacks all at once. Brian says, "His tactic is to just scatter you and to just put a little bit of distance, a little bit of distance, a little bit of compromise at a time." One day a person looks up and realizes they are cut off from the people and habits that kept them close to God, and the distance got there quietly.
The congregation added their own voices to this, noting that community is not always easy to stay inside but that the peace of the Lord is found there, not apart from it. The scattering the enemy works toward is not just separation from other people but from a spouse, from scripture, from the rhythms that make hearing God possible. Community, in this teaching, is part of the same filter that helps a person discern what is real.

Jay's testimony showed what it looks like when a person has nothing left but a Bible and a genuine prayer, and how Christian community became part of what God used to bring him and eventually his family back.
