What does Tribe teach about heaven and hell?

At Tribe, the teaching on heaven and hell starts with the conviction that most Christians have quietly stopped thinking carefully about what comes after death, and that the Bible has more to say about it than most people realize. In both messages, Brian has made the case that eternity is not a vague spiritual warmth waiting on the other side of death but a concrete reality with real categories and real consequences. He is direct about it: Brian says, "It's okay if you don't believe in hell. It's really irrelevant if you do or don't. That does not change the reality of the existence of that place."
The judgment that leads to eternity is something Brian has returned to more than once. Drawing from Hebrews 9:27 and 2 Corinthians 5:10, he has taught that every person dies once and then faces a reckoning for what was done in the body. He has been clear that this applies to everyone, including those who reject belief in God entirely, because opting out of belief does not change the outcome any more than disbelieving in gravity changes what happens when you step off a building. From Matthew 25, he has pressed the point that judgment is binary: sheep and goats, with no third category in between.
The good news in all of this, as Brian has framed it, is that God provides what is needed. The wedding garments in the Parable of the Wedding Banquet, rooted in ancient Middle Eastern custom where the host supplied a garment for every guest, are a picture of salvation freely given. The man found without one is speechless before the king, and Brian has said every person will one day stand in the same position, without a valid excuse. The invitation is open, but it has to be personally received.
