What does Tribe teach about new life?

At Tribe, the teaching on new life starts with a simple and direct claim: resurrection is not only something that happens after physical death but a present reality that begins the moment a person makes an exchange with Jesus. Brian Hunter opens that conversation in the resurrection series by drawing on Jesus telling Nicodemus that what is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of the spirit is spirit. A person is a spirit living in a body, and being born again is a spiritual transaction. Without Jesus, a person may have a pulse but is spiritually dead. With him, the old life is genuinely gone and a new one has begun. Brian puts it plainly from 1 John 5:12: "He who has the son has life. It don't matter how hard you can ski, how high you can climb, what's in your bank account."
The teaching is careful to hold two things together. The spirit is renewed at salvation, but the flesh does not get born again, it needs to be crucified daily. The mind has to be renewed daily too, which is why Romans 12:1-2 carries real weight in Brian's teaching. New life is not a transaction you file away. It is a direction you keep moving in.
The Feast of First Fruits messages push that further by grounding new life in the resurrection of Jesus himself. Jesus is not just a miracle that happened once. Brian draws from 1 Corinthians 15 to show that Jesus rising from the dead is the first of a coming harvest, the firstborn from the dead, with every believer to follow at his return. That is where the confidence comes from. As Brian says, "The resurrection of Jesus gives us great confidence that nothing less than total victory is our destiny." And the door into that destiny is open to anyone. Brian is direct about this: "It does not matter where you've been. It doesn't matter how much you have blown it."
