What does Tribe teach about boundary stones?
Drawn from the message where it was actually addressed: the words said from the front, the passages taught, and where to hear the whole thing.
At Tribe, the teaching on boundary stones begins with Genesis. Pastor Brian preached that when God creates human beings male and female in Genesis chapter one, He is not simply recording biology but establishing a design, and that design carries the full weight of the Creator's authority. The ancient Proverbs warning against moving boundary stones, the markers that defined each family's God-given land in Israel, became the image Brian used to name what he sees happening in the current cultural moment. Those stones, he said, were not laid by any county survey or passing culture, and they are not ours to move.
From there, Brian turned to Romans chapter one, reading verses 18 through 32, and made the case that Paul addressed two thousand years ago the same dynamic Tribe faces today. When a society suppresses the truth about God and turns to worship creation rather than the Creator, the text shows that God gives that society over to increasingly dark and confused thinking. Brian applied this directly: he said we have arrived at a moment where, as he put it, "we dare not even speculate at the common sense definition of what a woman is."
The teaching was not framed as a political statement or aimed at any individual. Brian was clear that he was addressing an ideology, not a person. He spoke as a husband and a father who feels something rise up in him when those boundary stones are moved, and he grounded that response in Scripture rather than sentiment. The occasion was Mother's Day, and his aim was to honor women in the way he believes the God who designed them calls His people to.

“Falling in love with creation here in this valley is like reading an amazing book and then asking where you can get a bottle of the ink that book was written with.”

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.
